Driver Vojtech Stajf (*1974) is the reigning rally champion of Czech Republic in production cars category with his Subaru Impreza WRX STI. Vojtěch Štajf driver

Driver Vojtech Stajf (*1974) is the reigning rally champion of Czech Republic in production cars category with his Subaru Impreza WRX STI. He is an admired successful professional racer who actively devotes himself to car races since 1995 while till these days he has started in almost 140 competition events in the Czech Republic and elsewhere abroad with various cars, nonetheless from 2005 he is a driver of a Subaru Czech importer. Among his biggest achievements belongs title of the overall runner-up of Czech Republic in rallysports in the 2006 season. Of the particular races he values most the absolute primacy in Rally Bohemia 2005 and two silver medals in his category in Rally Monte Carlo 2010 and 2011. In cross-country competitions he managed to win together with Ales Loprais the trucks‘ category and to get a total bronze from Silk Way rally 2011 in Russia. He participated also in Rally Dakar 2009 which he did not finish due to technical retirement. Czech attendance at La Carrera Panamericana 2014 is his „dream become true“. He is a respected motoring journalist too.

Vladimír Zelinka co-driver

Co-driver Vladimir Zelinka (*1960) underwent his first race in 1983. As a co-driver he coupled the longest and most successful period of his career with Jan Trajbold as they formed then Czechoslovakia‘s national crew in Peace and friendship Cup (PMP) race at major happenings of European Championship (Golden Sands rally in Bulgaria; Rajd Polski or Russian winter rally). In PMP cup they have reached an absolute silver in 1986. During 1989-1997 he has returned to car racing as a driver (1993 champion of Czechoslovakia in group N with a Ford Escort Cosworth, in 1995 2nd place OA in the same category with Mazda 323 GTR) while in 1998 he occupied the „hot seat“ again as a navigator of Jan Trajbold jr. in a Ford Focus WRC. He has ceased this activity in 2003 while from 2005 he works as gravel-crew driver of Vojtech Stajf in Subaru Czech team. In his professional life he is an owner of car repair shop.
